When: 1st & 3rd Saturday - Evenings // 5th Saturday - All-Day County-Wide
Where: Grossmont College // Montgomery Field
Details: 1st & 3rd Saturdays (Driving Hunt): Hunt starts at 5PM from Grossmont College parking lot. Foxes are (usually) hidden within prescribed boundaries. Typically, one Main transmitter and up to five micro-transmitters hidden in the general vicinity of the main. 5th Saturday All-Day County-Wide (Driving Hunt): Hunt starts at 10 AM from Montgomery Field parking lot. Any number of transmitters hidden anywhere in San Diego County. Ride-Along's are welcome and encouraged, training and basic equipment is generally available for newcomers. We usually pick a place to meet for dinner after the hunt.

Where: Auburn, CA
Details: The Sierra Foothills Amateur Radio Club hosts a variety of monthly fox hunts. Some months are walking hunts in local parks, others are 2 hour driving sprints and an occasional wide area 24 hour hunt where the transmitter is hidden within a 20 or 30 mile radius. Everyone is invited to participate. If you have never participated in a hunt before or want to ride along as part of a team with an experienced Elmer (mentor), come to our pre-hunt meeting held at 9am after our monthly breakfast. Southern California all day hunt.

When: Fourth Saturday (no hunt in June or December), 10 am, 146.565 MHz.
Where: Start point, Ronald Reagan Park, Diamond Bar, California. Talk in on 146.565 MHz.
Details: Driving hunt. Often requires 4 wheel drive high clearance vehicle, but some hunters are very successful with standard vehicles. Long sniffs may be required at the end. Often takes 8-14 hours.
